The health drinks category is seeing some aggressive adverting campaigns that are aimed directly at competition. Glaxo's Horlicks and Heinz's Complan are taking the malted drinks battle to the next level by claiming to be superior than the competition and in the process getting dragged in litigation."You have seen our Complan ads and you have seen us respond to Horlicks ads, now you will see more hard facts coming in our ad campaigns," said Arvind Sharma, chairman, Leo Burnett.
