For the first five years of the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India campaign, we talked about how crucial it is to live in clean surroundings. In the sixth year of the campaign, we made the natural transition from Banega Swachh India to Banega Swasth India and linked cleanliness and hygiene directly to health. With COVID-19 ravaging the world, more people are waking up to the facts we have been highlighting about health, hygiene, nutrition and a clean environment. This year, our message is simple - to prevent such pandemics. Our behaviour is the key to not just our own healthy future but for everybody's healthy future.
