The 'Delta' variant of COVID-19 - a version first detected in India - has evolved to form the 'Delta Plus' variant. Maharashtra is preparing for the third Covid wave. Learning from the UK, which is seeing a new wave in a span of less than eight weeks, the Maharashtra task force also feels that a new wave may come in two to four weeks. 100 covid beds are being prepared for children at Mumbai's largest jumbo Covid centre.
