Bitti Mohanty who was accused of raping a German student has been sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 by a fast track court in Alwar. Mohanty, the son of Orissa's DGP, had raped the German research student in a hotel at Alwar on March 20.
