As the election campaign in West Bengal becomes more nasty and personal, Trinamool Conrgess lawmaker Derek O'Brien has defended Mamata Banerjee's controversial remark that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is 'drenched in blood'. Speaking to NDTV, Mr O'Brien said, "Drenched in blood - absolutely factual. She can't change the facts. She is only stating the facts." He also claimed that "the regional parties have done very well" in the elections and that his party is now focused on what they are going to do after May 23.
