2 Key Delhi Markets Shut Over Covid-Rule Violations

The Punjabi Basti market and the Janata market in West Delhi's Nangloi area have now been closed for violating Covid-appropriate behaviour. According to the administration, social distancing rules were being violated by the public as well as by the shopkeepers and nearly 400 shops have been shut till July 6 as a warning and to prevent these marketplaces from turning into Covid hotspots. But traders defend themselves.
