Exports worth over Rs 4,000 crore have been held up due to a 3-day strike by workers at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Uran on Wednesday. The strike, which entered its third day on Friday, is over a long-pending demand for compensation in return for the land allotted by the locals for the construction of JNPT way back in 1984.
