The issue of allowing early listing for those life insurance companies, which have yet to finish ten years in business, has gathered steam again. Finance ministry officials have now approached finance minister Pranab Mukherjee, to take a call on this matter. The context is, Reliance Life Insurance, approached the insurance regulator IRDA, two months ago, with a fresh request to list.
