Although the Navi Mumbai airport is probably a step away from getting the official stamp of approval from the Environment Ministry, the challenge of handling local demands, especially those related to land, remains a big issue. With 70 per cent being already acquired, the task now is to acquire the rest of the 30 per cent from the 10 villages.
