Lockout at MRF after workers' unrest
Tyre manufacturer MRF has declared a lockout at its Kottayam plant in Kerala because of labour unrest. Some workers affiliated to the INTUC union entered into an argument with a supervisor over work arrangements, resulting in their suspension.
