Leveraging Kawasaki partnership: Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto has recently decided to expand its partnership with Kawasaki to focus on markets in the ASEAN and Latin American markets. As part of this, Rajiv Bajaj says they plan to launch their first co-branded bike in the indonesian market in 2012. They hope that the combined strength of Bajaj and Kawasaki will help them grow market share in the Indonesian market. Rajiv Bajaj also expects to take the partnership to Brazil next. On the domestic market, Rajiv Bajaj re-iterated that the sales momentum continues to look very sluggish but he remains hopeful of good sales during the festive season.
