Petty politics leaves canal incomplete

A canal in the Narsinghpur district in Madhya Pradesh has been lying incomplete for the past two years because the local Congress MLA allegedly wants to block irrigation water to the six parched villages that will benefit from the canal. The reason? The villages are seen as being pro-BJP.
