Parliament Standoff Intensifies: Parliament Warzone Over No-Trust Motion
An intense parliament faceoff has erupted over the no-confidence motion signed by opposition MPs against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. 118 opposition MPs today submitted a motion of no confidence against the speaker. The speaker has reportedly told journalists that he will take a moral position not to enter the Lok Sabha till the motion is decided upon.
