The Karni Sena, the violent fringe group that has protested against the Bollywood film Padmaavat, joined Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to move the Supreme Court against the release of the period drama. As states allow for buses to be burnt and highways blocked, we ask if they have abdicated their responsibility.
