Orangutans News | 5 Baby Orangutans Rescued From Odisha Forest Shifted To Nandankanan Zoo
Five baby orangutans rescued from Rankutha Badapahi forest in Balasore have been shifted to Nandankanan Zoo in Bhubaneswar, where they are being kept in quarantine under close observation. The group includes two females and three males. As authorities investigate how the non-native animals reached Odisha, a four-member STF team led by DSP Manas Barik has inspected the forest and is examining the case from multiple angles. A possible wildlife trafficking angle is also being investigated.
