Union Minister MJ Akbar's defamation suit against one of his 14 accusers in the #MeToo movement has failed to stop a 15th woman from coming out against him and calling him out on sexual harassment. MJ Akbar has said he will not quit as Union Minister of State for External Affairs after being accused by several women journalists of sex harassment. Instead, he has sued for defamation the first woman to name him - Priya Ramani - saying she "intentionally put forward malicious, fabricated and salacious" allegations to harm his goodwill and reputation.
