Olive Ridley turtles have started to lay their eggs along the east coast, spanning from Odisha to Tamil Nadu. To support their conservation, hatcheries have been established in eight coastal districts of Tamil Nadu. These hatcheries serve as climate-resilient sanctuaries for the Olive Ridleys, providing a safe environment for their eggs to hatch and for the young turtles to thrive.
