Nokia CEO on jobs cuts

Nokia Corp. says it will lay off 1,800 people as new CEO Stephen Elop streamlines the company's Symbian Smartphone operation in an attempt to catch up to the competition. Stepehen Elop, president and CEO of Nokia, said the jobs cut decision has been taken to streamline operations.
