Amid ongoing unrest in Noida, District Magistrate Medha Roopam spoke to NDTV and appealed for calm, urging workers to maintain peace as authorities respond to their demands. The Gautam Buddha Nagar administration confirmed that a high-powered committee has accepted several key demands, including wage hikes, double overtime pay, weekly offs, and timely salary payments before the 10th of every month. Additional measures include issuing payslips, forming committees to address workplace harassment, and strengthening grievance redressal systems.
