'No Readback After Landing Clearance': Aviation Expert On Ajit Pawar Plane Crash
An aviation expert Sanjay Lazar has said that preliminary information indicates the aircraft had the runway in sight but failed to provide a readback of the final landing clearance to air traffic control. This aligns with eyewitness accounts who reported seeing a sudden fireball moments before the crash. The expert stressed that it is too early to speculate and that the DGCA and AAIB investigations, along with data from the black box, will determine what caused the loss of communication and the crash. A last-minute technical glitch or loss of control cannot be ruled out at this stage, the expert added.
