No job losses in French unit: Mittal
NRI Steel tycoon Laxmi Niwas Mittal has told NDTV that he will give alternative jobs to most of the 600 people he has to lay off in his Arcelor Mittal steel plant in eastern France. His reaction came after reports stated that Mittal had been summoned by an angry French president over possible lay offs of 600 employees at the Arcelor Mittal steel plant in eastern France.
