Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya speaks to NDTV amid the outbreak of the Nipah Virus in Kerala. "The Nipah Virus is a bit different from the coronavirus. Firstly, the Nipah virus does not spread as quickly. Secondly, it is spread by fruit bats. There are around three symptoms, which include headache and fever. Today, India has world-class virology labs that exist for testing. At the National Institute of Virology in Pune tests can be done immediately. We give different treatments to those who test positive and those who don't according to our protocol," the Minister said.
