'Next Quarter Will Be Just As Bad': P Chidambaram On Economy

"These comparisons are meaningless. These should be made with countries that have same per capita income. Next quarter will be just as bad. The disruptions will continue. The chief economic advisor is supposed to be the chief optimist of the government," said P Chidambaram, senior Congress leader, when asked to shed light on India's gross domestic product, or GDP, report of 6.3 per cent growth in the second quarter of this fiscal.
