Newspaper Vendor To Teacher: The Inspiring Story Of An Odisha Man

Kashinath Behera lives in the Bijharpur block of Jajpur in Odisha. He sells newspapers to support his family of six. One of his sons, Bidyasagar Behera, also started selling newspapers to help his father, but he didn't let that stop him from pursuing his education. Bidyasagar funded his own school and college education and then went on to clear the Teachers Eligibility Test. He now works as a teaching assistant in a government school in Binjharpur.
