The Centre rejects foreign funds clearance for Mother Teresa's organisation - the Missionaries of Charity. A huge political war has now broken out over the action taken by the government on Christmas, with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee saying that while the law is paramount, humanitarian efforts must not be compromised.
