Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, after three-hour talks with his visiting Chinese counterpart Wang Yi today, described ties as "work in progress" and progressing in slower pace than desirable. The relationship is "not normal", he said, because of the border friction; Yogi Adityanath was sworn in today as the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister for the second time, the first Chief Minister to achieve the feat in 37 years. KP Maurya, who lost the state election and Brajesh Pathak and were sworn in as his deputies.
