The all-party meeting on Jammu and Kashmir today passed a resolution calling for 'dialogue with all stakeholders'. Another thing that was discussed was autonomy resolution already passed by J&K Assembly. It was debated whether autonomy could be the anti-dote both to the azaadi demand as well as the perceptions of rising radicalism. On The Buck Stops Here we ask whether a national political consensus still eludes us on J&K and is that the problem? Also is there a cohesive policy or is there confusion with different political parties striking different notes on how to approach separatists?
