Information vs privacy: Is RTI being diluted?

While the Right to Information (RTI) has been hailed as a way to counter corruption, there is a growing concern over the extent to which it can be exercised. In fact, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh recently said that RTI should not be allowed to impinge on the right to privacy.
