RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has repeated his position on Kashi and Mathura, saying the RSS will not be a part of any such movement as its main job is character building. However, this time, he went a step further, saying why look for a 'shivling' in every mosque? Apart from a message to the RSS cadre and people in general, this could be a strong message to BJP leaders as well, as both Yogi Adityanath and Keshav Maurya have been at the forefront in terms of commenting on Kashi and Mathura. While the central leadership is trudging more cautiously, is this some sort of a strategy we do not know about? Or will the BJP actually follow the words of Mr Bhagwat?
