After violent protests broke out last Friday in some UP cities over the Islamophobic comments of now suspended BJP spokespersons, the UP government swung into action and has torn down the homes of those they say were part of the protests. Legal experts say this is a total violation of the law and any due process. Why have courts, if the state will be the judge, jury and executioner?
