UP Shootout Accused's House Razed: Rule By The Book Or Bulldozer?
Days after the sensational daylight killing of a murder witness in Uttar Pradesh, bulldozers showed up at the home of a close relative of gangster Atiq Ahmed, who is accused of plotting the killing. By all means bring down the mafia but is there any legal basis or for that matter any sense in razing the homes of those accused in a crime. Is this the way that law enforcement should work and do these attacks primarily target one community in Uttar Pradesh?
