Two years ago, when the government expanded the scope of India's Medical Termination of Pregnancy law to allow women the right to undergo abortions up to 24 weeks of pregnancy, it was seen as a move in support of reproductive justice but women continue to face legal barriers in accessing medical facilities. We ask tonight, are Indian laws enough for women regarding comprehensive abortion care?
