Julian Assange, the founder of the whistleblowing website Wikileaks, has said it is suspending any more of its revelations to fight a blockade by US banks. Credit card companies like Bank of America, Visa and Mastercard have blocked any donations to the website since last December. Mr Assange says this blockade is unlawful and is linked to 'Cablegate', when WikiLeaks released thousands of confidential US diplomatic cables.
