Gandhi’s personal belongings that went under the hammer may have been bought, but there is still some time before all those items actually come to India. Liqour baron Vijay Mallya says he intends to ask the government for waiver of import duty on Mahatma Gandhi's personal belongings, including the iconic glasses of the Father of the Nation, he purchased in the auction in New York.
