A video that shows a policeman being thrashed with sticks by BJP supporters during a protest against the Trinamool Congress today has surfaced on social media. In the video, the policeman is seen trying to run away, but the crowds – some carrying BJP flags – surround him and hit him several times. A man even hold the policeman by his neck. The policeman suffered a hand fracture.
