Twitter Sends Notices To Cartoonist Manjul, Other Users

This week, a cartoonist and other prominent Twitter users received notices from the social networking site informing them that it Twitter has received a legal request from Indian law enforcement to take action against their accounts. The cartoonist had been creating political cartoons highlighting the grim reality of what Indians had to undergo in the devastating second wave of the pandemic and in the process criticising the Centre's handling of the Covid outbreak.
