Trinamool's no-confidence motion disallowed in Lok Sabha

Trinamool Congress' no-confidence motion against the Manmohan Singh government was not allowed in Parliament today due to lack of numbers. Ms Banerjee's party failed to garner the support of 50 MPs. Leader of the Trinamool Congress in the Lok Sabha, Sudip Bandopadhyay, formally gave a notice regarding the motion today.
