One of the recurring themes of 2016 was campus politics. It started with the tragic suicide of Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula and then merged into protests at Jawaharlal Nehru University or JNU. As we go into 2017, there are student agitations in Gujarat which threaten to play a major factor in their elections and JNU is still on the edge with a missing student. Let's see how it all played out and became the big story of the year.
