Tamil Nadu's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders held a day long hunger strike in Valluvar Kottam, Chennai, on January 25th alleging that the 17-year-old girl who died by suicide in Tanjore on January 19 took the extreme step due to what they call, attempt to forcibly convert her to Christianity.
