First Tesla Showroom In India To Open Doors Today
Tesla, the US-based automaker, is set to make its India debut today. After a long tussle with the Indian government, Tesla has found a reliable ground in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex for its authorized showroom. While the Elon Musk-owned electric car manufacturer was considering establishing a manufacturing plant in India, recent news suggests that Tesla is not interested in it anymore. This suggests that the Tesla car will be available in India as an import, probably from China. The brand is also looking forward to setting up a showroom in Delhi, after Mumbai.
