Severe Water Crisis In Maharashtra
Maharashtra, the state with one of the highest GDPs in the country, is grappling with a water crisis, especially in districts like Jalna and Hingoli. Eighteen villages in these districts of Marathwada region are currently facing water shortage and tankers have been roped in to supply water. Astonishing visuals showed villagers going several feet down into a well to fetch water, risking their lives.
