Teen Raped In Maharashtra, Police Stations Argue Over Jurisdiction

A day after a 34-year-old woman died after she was brutally raped in Mumbai suburb Sakinaka, another incident of sexual abuse has been reported in Maharashtra, this time in Ulhasnagar. A 15-year-old girl was raped in a railway accommodation on the Ulhasnagar station premises Friday night, Railway police said today. A case has been registered under sections of IPC and the Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and the accused has been arrested.
