With the monsoon in full force, roads in Mumbai's eastern suburbs are now littered with potholes. 28-year-old Shyamdas Salve had a narrow escape while travelling in Ghatkopar. His bike hit a pothole, causing him and his friend to skid and fall. "I bruised my hand and legs and had to go to the hospital for treatment, my friend too suffered injuries. After the incident I'm scared to ride bikes, but what's the other option?" asked Mr Salve.
