Pressure grows for ban on Bajrang Dal
There is increasing pressure on the UPA government to ban the Bajrang Dal, not only from various religious groups, but also from within the Congress and it's allies. "It is part of the same coin just like SIMI and it should be banned," said Congress leader Digvijay Singh. But despite all the political pressure there seems to be no action at the Home Ministry to even contemplate such a proposal.
