Praful Patel Sacks Jayant Patil As NCP State President

"Today, I officially inform Jayant Patil won't be the state president anymore. Now Sunil Tatkare has been appointed as the state president of the party. Jayant Patil should handover everything to Sunil Tatkare immediately," said Praful Patel, a Lok Sabha member, backing Ajit Pawar's move to join the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government. "Now, whatever changes needed in Maharashtra, as state president, Sunil Tatkare will have the authority to make the new structural changes," he said.
