Pigeons Of Odisha Police Keeps Glorious Past Alive
In the age of internet and mobiles, when even traditional modes of communication like letters and post cards have become redundant, the Odisha Police still maintains a pigeon messenger service. The Odisha Police has two pigeon lofts with around 150 Belgian homer pigeons. Although, the pigeons are no longer used to deliver messages, the Odisha police intends to keep the heritage service alive.(Video Credit: PTI)
