Nigerian Gang Involved In Cyber Fraud Busted In Noida

A Nigerian gang consisting of six people has been busted by Noida Police on Monday. According to the Police, the gang was involved in cheating women by creating a dating app and them asking them to make transactions in the name of the app. A total of seventeen mobile phones have been recovered by the police and each phone had around 30 chats. Police are further investigating the matter to bust the entire racket and arrest all the people involved. "A Nigerian gang has been caught in cyber fraud, there are 6 people in the gang. They used to cheat girls by making dating app. There was also a Bhutanese woman in their gang. 17 mobiles have been seized, each mobile has 25-30 chats. This gang was talking to around 300 girls, investigation is on," said Shakti Awasthi, ADGP, Noida.
