During the coronavirus induced lockdown, many small healthcare facilities especially in smaller towns in villages were shut. As a result of which, many women were forced to deliver babies at home and were deprived of pre and post-natal services. This gap is being filed by NGOs like Snehalaya and GiveIndia. Together, they are providing medical and nutritional support to pregnant women, young girls and newborns.
