Kiran is getting ready to go to school, as are some of her friends. Once ready, they start walking to the place from where they will leave for school. This is the Yamuna Khader area in Delhi's Mayur Vihar, adjacent to Noida. To reach their school, the children of this urban village have to take a boat ride every morning.
