Three-time former Prime Minister and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif returned to Pakistan on Saturday after a four-year-long self-imposed exile in London. Sharif, 73, first become prime minister in 1990. He was ousted in a 1999 coup, ending a second stint as prime minister, and went into self-imposed exile until 2007.
